2 From India Killed In Bus Crash In Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Police say a tour bus skidded and overturned while descending from a Malaysian casino, killing two Indian nationals and injuring 22 others.

District police chief Mohamad Yusri Hassan Basri says the bus was on the way down from Genting Highlands in central Malaysia early Monday when the driver lost control. The vehicle hit the road divider and overturned in the opposite lane.

Mohamad Yusri says a woman died at the scene and another passenger died on the way to the hospital. The rest have been hospitalized. He says the bus, carrying 22 Indian nationals, was heading to Singapore when the incident occurred.

The police chief says the driver is being investigated for reckless driving.
