Bill O'Reilly has a theory about why Mitt Romney is trailing in the polls in key swing states: the Internet. "Everybody is now diverted, their attention is diverted, because they have machines 24-7," O'Reilly said on his show, speaking with guest Laura Ingraham. "They're texting, whatever they're doing. They don't have time to read, they don't have time to watch news programs, they don't have time to do anything.

"They catch little things here and there. But I'm thinking the electorate is so dumbed down now, by the Internet, that's all they do now," he continued.

Laura Ingraham agreed that people are just paying attention to the small "pop culture moments,"  and "it's really hard to blame someone you like."

O'Reilly added, addressing his Fox News audience: "We're not talking about you guys. You guys are engaged."
