Pat Robertson: Beware of “scamsters in religious garb”

The "700 Club" host delivered his warning without any discernible irony

Two weeks ago Pat Robertson bragged that his prayers had landed a Texas businessman a check for $1 million, but this week the failed doomsday predictor and thrift store demon exorcist warned “700 Club” viewers to watch out for scam artists looking to take advantage of the faithful:

Ladies and gentleman, beware of these scamsters — especially scamsters in religious garb — quoting the Bible. I mean, run from them. They are all over the place.
