A new Gallup poll finds that more Americans are growing concerned about global warming, with 58 percent saying they "personally worry" about the effects of global warming at least a fair amount.
This is up from 51 percent in 2011.

Public concern about global warming has waxed and waned over the past two decades, ranging between 50% and 72%. The average percentage over time for "worrying a great deal/fair amount" comes in at just under 60%, similar to the March 7-10 reading from Gallup's 2013 Environment poll.
But the poll also finds that 15 percent believe that the effects of global warming will never happen, while 41 percent believe new reports about the subject are exaggerated.
