Michael Douglas' admission that he believes his throat cancer had been caused by HPV means that his exes are, apparently, fair game.

The gossip site TMZ contacted Douglas' ex-wife, Diandra Douglas, to ask whether she has the sexually transmitted disease. (She says she does not.)

Douglas and his current wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, have been particularly open about their health; Zeta-Jones has publicly discussed her struggle with bipolar disorder, while Douglas' fight with cancer and eventual recovery took place largely in the public eye.

The "Behind the Candelabra" star has been involved with several public figures who operate in a less confessional mode; they are likely all fielding calls from the seamier news outlets today.
