Veteran "Saturday Night Live" writer Jack Handey, the comedic genius behind "Deep Thoughts" and nearly two dozen
pieces in The New Yorker, is gearing up to release his first novel, "The Stench of Honolulu."
Handey's book will be available July 16, but Funny or Die has released a few animated trailers in advance. The publisher describes Handey's tale as an adventure told by "a reliably unreliable narrator and his friend, who is some other guy."
