Ted Cruz gets heckled at a town hall

Supporters of Obamacare were protesting Cruz's push to defund the law

At a town hall in Dallas, Sen. Ted Cruz faced off with hecklers who objected to his push to defund Obamacare, and who interrupted Cruz's remarks three different times.

“You have healthcare, we should too!” two protesters chanted at Cruz. He replied: “Thank you for sharing your views. You know, part of the First Amendment is about respecting others.”

After supporters of Cruz began chanting “USA! USA!” to drown out the hecklers, Cruz continued: “I’ll make a couple of observations about those two young men. Number one, I agree with them. They should have healthcare and Obamacare is causing more and more people struggling to climb the economic ladder to lose their healthcare.”
