Another day, another quasi-ironic comment from a climate change denier.

At a town hall meeting Friday night, a college newspaper reports, Rep. Todd Rokita (R-Ind.) said: “I think it’s arrogant that we think as people that we can somehow change the climate of the whole earth when science is telling us that there’s a cycle to all this. And that cycle was occurring before the industrial revolution and I suspect will occur way into the future.”

The Huffington Post, which picked up the quote, adds that Rokita was one of the recipients of Organizing for Action's "Climate Denier Awards" earlier this month. Perhaps instead of a unicorn trophy, he would have benefitted more from a science textbook.
