"This government shutdown is so not-big-a-deal," said "Colbert Report" host Stephen Colbert, "we're not even calling it a shutdown anymore."
As CNN, "the most trusted name in reading other networks' websites," reports, Fox News has taken to euphemistically calling the shutdown a "slimdown."
"You know who's really going to 'slim down?'" asked Colbert. "The 9 million women and children who will lose supplemental nutrition from the government."
