SNL asks: What if "Gravity" happened during the shutdown?

Last night's Saturday Night Live made good use of the fact that the current most buzzed-about film is about astronauts lost in space...while in real life, 97 percent of NASA is on furlough.

When stranded astronauts Cecily Strong and Taran Killam call Houston to tell them they have a serious problem, they realize they're very much on their own. "Mission Control's not here right now, can I take a message?" asks Kenan Thompson, NASA's last remaining essential employee, before going off to make the Mars Rover pop some wheelies:
