Just in time for the release of “The Hobbit,” “Sesame Street” has released another kid-friendly parody — this one of “Lord of the Rings,” starring Cookie Monster as Monster Gobble. Though the plot veers from the Tolkien-book-based movie, Monster Gobble has lost his “precious” cookie recipe and is on a quest to remember it. Resisting a Hyde-like persona, Gobble must figure out how to bake his cookie in the fires of Mount Crumb (which is basically just an oven sitting next to him).
