Must-see morning clip: Everyone calm down, Megyn Kelly was just joking about white Santa

Jon Stewart is stunned that the Fox News anchor attempted to call her statement "a joke"

More appalling than Megyn Kelly's declaration on Fox News that Santa Claus is white last week was her "sorry, not sorry" moment on Friday's program, when Kelly called her comment a "joke" and a "jest" that only the "humorless" would not find funny.

This left "Daily Show" host and actual purveyor of comedy Jon Stewart so stunned that on Monday's program, he simply played Kelly's original clip, editorialized Kelly's comments, and played the clip again. "What appeared to me to be another segment of Fox News expressing anger and victimization over the loss of absolute power and reframing it as persecution of real America by minorities, freeloaders and socialists," said Stewart, "was actually a jest, a jape, a bit of wise-crackery."

Now please, with that in mind, let's all look for the punchline again:

"For all you kids watching at home, Santa just is white. Santa is what he is, and just so you know, we're just debating this because someone wrote it about."
