Pope Francis on Wednesday gave his friend a lift in the popemobile.
It was very sweet! (I am critical of the pope, but not immune to his charms.)
His friend, a priest from Argentina, runs over waving his arms like, “Hey, it’s me! Remember me?”
Then Pope Francis is like, “Of course I remember you! Do you want to ride with me in this weird car while I wave to people?”
And then his friend is like, “Well, I wasn’t going to ask, but since you offered!”
