Ronan Farrow interviews a posing-nude Miley Cyrus for fashion magazine

The MSNBC host gets a whole new exclusive -- with a controversial pop princess

It's nice for an MSNBC anchor to get some freelance writing in on the side -- Rachel Maddow had her book about the growth of the military-industrial complex, and Ronan Farrow has Miley Cyrus.

Farrow, whose daytime show begins on the cable news network after the Olympics have concluded, has interviewed Miley Cyrus for a forthcoming issue of W, on whose cover the pop singer poses nude.

The conversation between the blond newsman and the blond chanteuse is, so far, under wraps, as only the cover has leaked -- it depicts Cyrus nude, in bed, shielded by a pillowcase, a conscious echo of Cyrus' controversial bedsheet-wrapped Vanity Fair spread at the height of her "Hannah Montana" fame.

Farrow, the former adviser to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the raconteur who famously socializes with the likes of Katy Perry and Hilary Duff, is an admirer of Cyrus, at least on Twitter.
