Ten days after "American Psycho" writer Bret Easton Ellis confirmed to Vice that he is working on a film with Kanye West, the rapper has released a trailer for the movie on his Web site.

The promo for the movie, titled "Yeezus," like his album and tour, flashes of photos from the rapper's tour, which recently concluded. Hype Williams is directing, and the film will be released in theaters soon.

Although the first page of the script allegedly leaked earlier this week, few details have been revealed. When Ellis discussed the project, he said the movie is "in Kanye Land, and that’s subject to a whole other time frame."

"He came and asked me to write the film," Ellis continued. "I didn’t want to at first. Then I listened to Yeezus. It was early summer last year and I was driving in my car. He’d given me an advance copy, and I thought, regardless of whether I’m right for this project, I want to work with whoever made this. So fuck it, I said yes. And that’s how it happened. That was seven or eight months ago. We’ll see what happens."
