"Back to the Future" hoverboard hoax takes over the Internet

What's better than a bunch of celebrities hanging out? A bunch of celebrities hanging out on hoverboards

Yes, those are "Back to the Future" stars Christopher Lloyd and Billy Zane.  And, yes, that is an awesome, working DeLorean.  Sadly, contrary to the tag line, "The Future Has Arrived," the rest of this star-studded video featuring "Back to the Future"-like hoverboards is fake.

Despite that fact, the video by HOVr is well worth a watch.  It stars Tony Hawk, Moby, Terrell Owens and actress Agnes Bruckner -- who excitedly teeter around on the board, while sincerely lauding the fake hoverboard's ease of use. Tony Hawk even says that "Back to the Future" was a huge reason skateboarding became popular.

HOVr's website claims:

The HUVr Board team ultimately aims to improve the efficiency, speed and sustainability of mass transportation. Yet rather than spend several more years closed off from the world while investing in research and development, the team and our world-class investors have worked to change the economics R&D by marketing this exciting consumer product in order to fund ongoing R&D.

And it even has a pull-quote from Mark Cuban. It is unclear, however, if this is a real website or just an excuse for a couple of awesome videos.
