It is Pi Day: Celebrate with Carl Sagan

Neil deGrasse Tyson hosts a rebooting of "Cosmos," but we can still find words of wisdom from the original

Today is March 14, otherwise known as Pi Day (for 3.14). And although this particular clip has little to do with the iconic mathematical constant, it seems appropriate to watch Carl Sagan’s original “Cosmos.”

“If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe,” explained the late astronomer and astrophysicist. You can also use Sagan’s recipe for apple pie.
