Grain higher, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose 18.50 cents to $6.7875 a bushel; May corn was 4.50 cents higher at 5.03 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at $4.0350 a bushel; while May soybeans advanced 13.25 cents to $14.7625 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose .13 cent to $1.3590 a pound; May feeder cattle was .35 cent higher at $1.8042 a pound; while June lean hogs rose 1.43 cent to $1.2265 a pound.
