Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery was unchanged at 6.1450 a bushel; July corn was 4 cents lower at 4.5225 a bushel; July oats were unchanged at 3.6075 a bushel; while July soybeans was 14.50 cents lower at 14.68 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Aug live cattle was .93 cent higher at $1.4110 a pound; Aug feeder cattle was .98 cents higher at 1.9975 a pound; July lean hogs gained .62 cents to $1.2212 a pound.
