Jon Stewart perfectly sums up last night's shellacking

"The Daily Show" host likens the midterms to a scene from "Game of Thrones," clarifies that he did vote

Tuesday night Jon Stewart and "The Daily Show" presented live election coverage, injecting some humor into a rough election for Democrats -- or as Stewart called it a "red wedding."

"Look I'm trying to find any way to entertain people, who are truly on a ledge tonight," Stewart said. "These people -- every question in warm up, 'What do you think is going to happen now?' As though the Senate was a functioning body before tonight."

Stewart also cleared up that he did in fact vote; he was merely being "flip" about that topic on CNN. Watch below:
