Grain mixed, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Dec delivery fell 4.5 cents to $5.2025 a bushel; Dec corn was up a penny to 3.7125 a bushel; Dec oats declined 4.75 cents to $3.3575 a bushel; while Jan soybeans gained 8.75 cents to $10.28 a bushel.

Beef and pork gained on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec live cattle rose .15 cent to $1.6535 a pound; Jan feeder cattle was up .37 cent to $2.3057 a pound; while Dec lean hogs were .53 cent higher at $.8765 a pound.
