Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Mar delivery was up 4.25 cents to $5.94 a bushel; Mar corn was up 5.25 cents to 3.95 a bushel; Mar oats rose .75 cent to $3.1275 a bushel; while Jan soybeans gained 25.5 cents to $10.36 bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Feb live cattle was off 2.10 cents to $1.6487 a pound; Jan feeder cattle was 1.08 cents lower at $2.3487 a pound; while Feb lean hogs fell a penny to $.8562 a pound.
