On Thursday night Jon Stewart took a break from his exhaustive indictment of America’s torture practices to discuss some lighter news. The duke and duchess of Cambridge — William and Kate — were in New York this past week.
Stewart begins to understand why people are so obsessed with the “antiquated relic” that is the monarchy: The couple is so attractive — and a welcome distraction from finding out the methods of “enhanced interrogation” our country used on prisoners.
