Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Mar delivery was unchanged at 6.02 a bushel; Mar corn was 1.75 cents lower at $4.0525 a bushel; Mar oats were unchanged at $3.05 a bushel; while Mar soybeans lost 9.5 cents to $10.345 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Feb live cattle was up .5 cent to $1.6520 a pound; Mar feeder cattle was 1.25 cents higher at 2.1750 a pound; Feb lean hogs rose .63 cent to $.8180 a pound.
