Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Mar delivery fell 8.50 cents to $5.8125 a bushel; Mar corn was 1.25 cents lower at 3.9575 a bushel; Mar oats were off 1.50 cents to $3.0225 a bushel; while Mar soybeans declined 16 cents to $3.0750 bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Feb live cattle was up 2.12 cents at $1.6567 a pound; Mar feeder cattle gained 4.13 cents to $2.2145 a pound; while Feb lean hogs was .10 cent higher to $.8130 a pound.
