Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Mar delivery was unchanged at 5.89 a bushel; Mar corn was 1.50 cents higher at $4.0750 a bushel; Mar oats were unchanged at $3.06 a bushel; while Mar soybeans gained 5.75 cents to $10.51 a bushel.

Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Feb live cattle was lower .52 cent to $1.6570 a pound; Mar feeder cattle was 2.37 cents lower at 2.21 a pound; Feb lean hogs lost 1.00 cents to $.7892 a pound.
