Dakota Johnson's mom, Melanie Griffith, is a huge David Letterman fan. And also, incidentally, a huge handcuffs fan.
Johnson stopped by the "Late Show with David Letterman" Tuesday night and reminded Letterman of that one time her mother brought him handcuffs on the show. Naturally, this led Johnson to ask the question you just do when you find out your mom has given someone handcuffs: “So, are you my dad?”
Letterman clarified: "...Here's something I will tell you. Your mom used to come on the show all the time, and I really loved your mom."
