Michele Bachmann compares Obama to pilot who deliberately crashed Germanwings plane

Ex-congresswoman says Iran nuclear talks will end in "smoldering" American cities

Michele Bachmann may have left Congress in January, but the Minnesota Republican hasn't abandoned her penchant for incendiary rhetoric. On Tuesday, Bachmann compared President Obama to Andrea Lubitz, the pilot believed to have deliberately crashed a Germanwings plane in the French Alps last week, killing 150 people.

Bachmann took to Facebook to slam the ongoing negotiations on Iran's nuclear program, asserting that by pursuing diplomacy with the country, Obama was, similar to Lubitz, "a deranged pilot flying his entire nation into the rock."

With his Iran deal, Barack Obama is for the 300 million souls of the United States what Andreas Lubitz was for the 150...

As she prepared to depart the House of Representatives after four terms, Bachmann announced last year that she wished to spend her post-congressional career as a foreign policy expert.
