Barack Obama's kids do not think he's cool

POTUS' kids did not go easy on him when they learned he didn't know what a "group text" was

Catching a breath from all that mom dancing, Michelle Obama sat down with Jimmy Fallon Thursday night to give him some sage parenting advice. Starting in, she said: "They still like you now -- so hold onto that." She went on to explain that what she thinks works so well within the First Family household is the distribution of power. (There isn't a "good cop" or "bad cop" parent-dynamic.)

Also, we learn that POTUS is great at "enforcing" things with the kids -- that is, when they're able to take him seriously. Giving us a glimpse into an average day at the Obama's place, FLOTUS described one particular dinner in which her two girls were astonished by his "detachment."

"The other day the two girls were trying to clue him into what a group chat was on text," she said. "He didn't know -- so we're sitting around the dinner table and they all kind of looked at him and Malia said, 'Oh dad you're so detached.'"
