Grain mixed, livestock mostly lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery rose .25 cent to $5.2625 a bushel; May corn lost 3.75 cents to 3.7925 a bushel; May oats were 3 cents lower at 2.70 a bushel; while May soybeans were .50 cent higher at $9.7150 a bushel.

Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell .87 cent to $1.5145 a pound; May feeder cattle was off 1.48 cents to $2.1347 a pound; while June lean hogs were .75 cent higher at $.7710 a pound.
