Rumors swirled after Kris Jenner opted out of Bruce Jenner's monumental "20/20" special back in April. Monday morning, TODAY unveiled that Kris will finally open up about Bruce's transition come May 17, as E! airs a two-part "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" special.

The promo for that special includes a tearful heart-to-heart between Kris and Kim Kardashian -- the most accepting of his daughters, Bruce notes in the "20/20" special -- in which the two attempt to make sense of the past and future, in light of Bruce's now-public statement.

"He has to deal with this for the rest of his entire life," Kim says to Kris. "Waking up and feeling like, 'Woah! This isn't my body. This doesn't feel comfortable.' That's the only way I can kind of imagine it. And you really have to let go."

To which, Kris replies: "I have these memories of this life. And I feel sometimes like it didn't exist."
