Meredith Viera encouraged Boston University to "be the Left Shark." Bill Nye admitted to Rutgers that he loves "his 'Uptown Funk.'" Kanye West professed his love for George W. Bush's paintings to the the Art Institute of Chicago. Ah, yes. Commencement season is here.

And this weekend ushered in an instant classic (NPR, take note) with Maya Rudolph's Tulane speech. In it, Rudolph channeled her inner-Beyonce with a spectacular rendition of the "Star-Spangled Banner."
