Everyone is determined to make Caitlyn Jenner's post-transformation Vanity Fair cover about themselves, and that includes CNN anchor Carol Costello who weighed in on Tuesday, expressing remorse over the loss of the male Olympian champ she fondly recalls from the '70s.
"There is a bit of sadness in me that I'll never see him again," she said. "And I've heard that from several people."
Wow, Jenner definitely should have checked in with Costello and the CNN team before deciding to pursue an honest and fulfilling life, huh?
CNN's Brian Stelter jumped in to explain that the feelings Costello was experiencing were very likely "generational" -- that those who grew up in the '70s probably have much more "complicated feelings" toward the transformation than, say, someone whose entry point into knowing Jenner is through "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," or otherwise.
