A Baltimore woman has launched a fundraising campaign to make what has been characterized as her "relentlessly gay" front yard even more relentlessly gay. Julie Baker, a lover of rainbows and (it would seem) equal rights, decided to create a GoFundMe page after receiving a hateful note from one of her neighbors, alerting her to the fact that the decorations outside her home were disturbing the peace.

According to the Baltimore Sun, Baker received an anonymous letter signed by "a concerned home owner," threatening legal action if she didn't change her lawn decor:

The note, according to the Facebook photo, read: "Your yard is becoming Relentlessly Gay! Myself and Others in the neighborhood ask that you Tone it Down. This is a Christian area and there are Children. Keep it up and I will be forced to call the police on You! Your kind need to have Respect for GOD."

The relentless gayness of Baker's yard came in the form of a string of rainbow solar lights, which spell out the words "love" and "ohana," the latter of which is a Hawaiian expression for family unity. The woman launched her GoFundMe page because she believes she needs "more rainbows... many, many more rainbows..." to troll her homophobic neighbor(s) effectively.

"Put simply, I am a widow and the mother of four children, my youngest in high school and I WILL NOT Relent to Hatred," Baker wrote. "Instead, I will battle it with whimsy and beauty and laughter and love, wrapped around my home, yard and family!!!"

As of Thursday morning, Baker had more than tripled her $5,000 fundraising goal.
