Bill Cosby's most staunch defender (apart from Camille) has finally thrown in the towel today. Whoopi Goldberg, "The View" co-host who has come under fire in recent weeks for persisting in her defense even when faced with definitive proof of Cosby's guilt, spoke with Mediaite founder Dan Abrams on Tuesday's daytime program and revealed that she's had quite a change of heart.

It's unclear what triggered the change of heart, exactly -- whether it was the slew of alleged death threats sent her way, or one of the many viral late-night take-downs highlighting her tone-deaf defenses through the years. What is clear: Goldberg now appears to be a huge champion of justice for rape victims.

“If this is to be tried in the court of public opinion, I got to say all of the information that’s out there kind of points to guilt,” Goldberg told Abrams in the segment.

Goldberg also expressed outrage over the fact that a statute of limitation currently shields Cosby from any real criminal repercussions for 40+ reported instances of sexual assault. The co-host asked Abrams who viewers could write to to see that these laws were lifted and justice was served for the country and this "ass" -- echem, "bone-head," specifically.

“I have to say I thought that, yeah, here’s all the information, take his ass to jail," Goldberg said. "I find out from you [Abrams] that that’s not possible. So I can’t say any more ‘innocent until proven guilty,’ because there’s no way to prove it. We are the only proof that folks have.”

Goldberg saved her best shots for last, closing out the segment with a direct address to Cosby: "It looks bad, Bill. Either speak up or shut up. Because people know now that there's a lot more out there than they thought."
