Lisa Bonet, who played Bill Cosby’s daughter on “The Cosby Show” has yet to speak publicly about the fifty-plus sexual assault allegations against the comic. Yet in a recent interview with The Guardian, her daughter Zoe Kravitz gave some insight into her mother’s views on the situation.

Saying her mother hasn’t spoken to her about the allegations and that “she’d plead the fifth, even to me,” Kravitz adds that her mother is just as repulsed as the rest of us. "I think she’s just staying out of it. She’s just as disgusted and concerned as everyone else is, but I don’t think she has any insight. It’s news to her as well.”

Kravitz acknowledges that there is a reason people might think her mother ‘knows something,’ but adds that if she had a reason to come forward she would.

“Of course,” she says. “She was on the show for a long time. She’s also a beautiful woman. It makes people wonder. She’s a very straightforward person. If there was something she felt the world needed to know that would help this case or help any women who had been abused, she would say something.”
