Jeb Bush is Stephen Colbert’s first “Late Show” guest on September 8th, and in honor of the historic occasion, he decided to hold a raffle allowing supporters to win a ticket to the taping in exchange for a $3 campaign contribution.

Unfortunately, Jeb didn’t exactly ask Colbert if he could raise money off his first show, and Colbert is none too happy about it. So, in classic Colbert fashion, the savvy host decided to launch a counter-raffle of his own, including a trip to the "Late Show" taping and the chance to ask Jeb a non-obscene question of your choice (a question like "don't you wish you'd consulted Stephen before launching your contest," perhaps?)

Watch Colbert's full response below:

Jeb issued his own rejoinder a few hours later, which even features an Amy Schumer reference, because Jeb! is! hip!
