The final performer on "The Colbert Report" delivers an incredible performance on the 2nd episode of his new gig

When "The Colbert Report" finished its run last December, the final musical performer was Kendrick Lamar, who appeared on the show's penultimate episode. So it only makes that he appeared on the second episode of Colbert's new show to perform a medley of songs from his latest album, "To Pimp a Butterfly."

The set list included "Wesley's Theory," "Momma," "King Kunta," and "U," and clearly made a strong impression on his host:
