Former President Jimmy Carter -- who recently announced that cancer in his liver has spread to his brain -- was captured on the "Kiss Cam" with his wife Rosalynn during last night's Atlanta Braves game.

Carter, a longtime fan of the baseball team, was in his usual seat. "Good to see the President back at the ballpark," one of the Braves anouncers said. "Hope he's feeling well."

In August, Carter released a statement saying that "[r]ecent liver surgery revealed that I have cancer that now is in other parts of my body. I will be rearranging my schedule as necessary so I can undergo treatment by physicians at Emory Healthcare."

Mere weeks after that diagnose, he told reporters that the cancer in his liver was melanoma, and that it had spread to four tiny spots in his brain. He has been undergoing treatment for it ever since, making his appearance at the stadium -- as well as his demeanor on the "Kiss Cam" -- a very welcome site.
