Last night at the BET Hip-Hop awards, the cast of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway sensation “Hamilton” took the stage for an epic cypher (basically a group freestyle) where they boldly trumpeted the show, name-checked everyone from Rosa Parks to the Rock, and made a compelling case for Miranda's EGOT.
“I'm gunning for Pulitzer Prizes,” rapped Miranda. “But I got a Grammy, got a Tony, got an Emmy, damn it, homie, won’t somebody show me the way to the Oscars?”
