GOP presidential contender Mike Huckabee had been leading in one thing -- the most racist tweets delivered during the Democratic debate on Tuesday -- but he can't even win that, not so long as disgraced former Arizona Republican Party chairman Randy Pullen still has access to a keyboard.
After the candidates were asked whether "all lives matter" or "black lives matter," Pullen graced the Internet with this gem:
"Yes black lives matter," he wrote. "The best way to end the slaughter of young black men is to take guns away from blacks as they are the main killers."
As the Arizona Republic's EJ Montini noted, Pullen is technically correct that the majority of black homicide victims are killed by other black people, it's also true that the majority of white homicide victims are killed by other white people. It would be best, however, not to hold your breath waiting for Pullen to call for disarming white America.
Like Donald Trump -- whose "witticisms" Pullen spent the evening re-tweeting -- Pullen believes that CNN was in the tank for the Democrats, and Hillary Clinton in particular:
He also made some in-debate predictions that demonstrate his political astuteness:
As for the claim that his tweets are racist, he makes the favored defense of racists everywhere -- his words were "taken out of context."
