According to the Huffington Post’s Nina Golgowski, the Twitter account of the Most Hated Man on the Internet, Martin Shkreli, was hacked on Sunday, resulting in a series of expletive-laden tweets — some of which, it should be noted, sounded more or less like Shkreli himself, e.g.
But those responsible for the hack gave up the game by venturing a little too far over-the-top at times:
After all, no one remotely familiar with Shkreli would believe this:
Especially considering his definition of “altruism” literally entails raising the cost of life-saving medical treatments by 5,455 percent.
Corroboration of the Twitter hack came in the form of other accounts of his also having been compromised, including those on Reddit and YouTube.
