Wells Fargo, Tylenol, Oreo: These mega corporations are shamelessly cashing in on the gay dollar

But their ads give you all the feels

Adidas is the latest company to target LGBT consumers.

Their Valentine's Day ad featured two women in Adidas sneakers — and while the images are sweet Adidas is cashing in on the buying power of the community, recently valued at $835 billion.

Coined the "gay dollar" companies are increasingly targeting their marketing efforts to the LGBT population — and that can open up issues such as ghettoization or the further marginalization of working class and poor queer people.
