Donald Trump spent the morning teasing reporters about his "big announcement," and the showman didn't fail to deliver, as he rolled out New Jersey Governor Chris Christie at his press conference.

"I am proud to be here to endorse Donald Trump for President of the United States," Christie said, thereby explaining why he went to hard after Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Florida Senator Marco Rubio in the last debate he participated in.

"There is no one who is better prepared to provide America with the strong leadership it leads," Christie said of his former primary rival.
