Comedy Central today released a preview for “Broad City” season 3, featuring a cameo from Hillary Clinton — the premise being that Ilana (Glazer) spends a day phone-banking for Clinton at her Brooklyn-based campaign headquarters. Ilana gives Abbi a “tour” of the office and they freak out when HRC herself walks in:
After months of teasing, the episode will air Wednesday at 10 p.m.

The show’s co-stars and -creators, Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, discussed the Clinton episode earlier this month on “Late Night” with Seth Meyers.
At a SXSW panel over the weekend, Glazer and Jacobson seemed to indicate that the cameo doesn’t necessarily imply a Clinton endorsement.
“I think that we were not trying to make a political statement,” Jacobson said, according to a Vulture report. “And Hillary, even regardless of where we stand — and we love Hillary — Hillary is such an iconic figure.”
“We’re trying to make really good TV,” Glazer added. “I think you’ll watch the episode and think you’ll agree that it’s a great episode of TV.”
