"Nightly Show" host Larry Wilmore took on the varied responses among U.S. political leaders to the Brussels terror attacks.
"Grandpa Munster Ted Cruz," Wilmore said, "had some harsh words about the attacks."
Cruz said the attack "underscores" the fact that we are in "a war with radical Islamic terrorism," and that "we need to empower law enforcement to patrol and secure Muslim neighborhoods before they become radicalized."
"The Muslim community's not a carton of milk," Wilmore responded. "It doesn't just go bad when you leave it out."
"So to recap," he added, "Donald Trump wants to wall Muslims out, Ted Cruz wants to fence Muslims in."
