NASA just released 2.95 million satellite images to the public

The Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) was launched in 1999 and has photographer 99% of the Earth's surface! The initial projection was a five year run but it has far surpassed that time frame and will continue to monitor Earth.  2.95 million images were made public on April 1st. Watch the above video to get a small taste of the images.
