"Daily Show" host Trevor Noah last night had a field day with Ted Cruz's sky-high unfavorable rating.
"There's a multitude of reasons," Noah said. "It could be because he paints gun-control measures as a plot to steal everyone's guns while they sleep. Or maybe they hate him because he wants special patrols for Muslim neighborhoods. Or maybe it's because he supports an abortion ban with no exceptions for rape of incest. Or maybe it's because he's the Zodiac Killer. You never know what it could be."
Noah touched on many of the weirder moments of Wednesday's CNN town hall with Cruz and wife Heidi (i.e. "The Godfather 3" and "literally 100 cans of Campbell's chunky soup").
"Who is this man?" Noah wondered. To give a visual demonstration of just how much soup Ted Cruz bought immediately after his honeymoon, Noah stood next to 100 cans of chunky soup. "What, are you taking a bath in it? What are you doing with this much soup?"
