Trump threatens to "tell the real story" of Joe Scarborough-Mika Brzezinski romance "when things calm down"

The GOP nominee's turbulent relationship with the "Morning Joe" hosts reached the point of no return on Monday

GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump fired off a couple of Monday morning mean tweets — this time directed at hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski of MSNBC's "Morning Joe":

Gossip of a romantic relationship between the co-hosts began on Page Six in June, after Brzezinski divorced her husband of 23 years. According to the story, an NBC "insider" called their dating "the worst-kept secret in TV."

Trump's relationship with Scarborough has been uniquely polar, but rarely does he put Brzezinski — the more left-leaning of the two hosts — in the hot seat. And while Mika is apparently taking the high road, Joe — who wrote a WaPo Op-Ed last week titled "The GOP must dump Trump" — chose to fight fire tweets with fire tweets:
