Colbert perfectly explains what everyone else is thinking about Trump's new strategy

"Late Show" host Stephen Colbert on Wednesday examined GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump's recent — seemingly out-of-the-blue — attempts to appeal to minority voters.

"Among African-Americans, he is polling at one percent," Colbert noted, "ranking him with the black community somewhere between country music and the Milwaukee Police Department."

At a handful of his rallies this past week, Trump has literally asked African-Americans "what the hell" they "have to lose" in voting for him. "Give me a chance," he added on Monday in Ohio.

"Yes, blacks, hispanics, what the hell do you have to lose? 'Cause you should really hide whatever that is before he becomes president," Colbert continued. "By the way, 'What the hell do you have to lose, give me a chance' is also how Trump proposed to all of his wives."
